A Special Forces soldier with the 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group, provides security during a patrol exercise. Special Forces soldiers maintain the full range of basic infantry skills such as patrolling. The 19th Special Forces Group is an Army National Guard unit.
Special Forces soldiers with the 5th Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group, assault a target after fast-roping from a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter during a public demonstration in Texas.
The 19th Special Force Group is a National Guard element within U.S. Army Special Operations Command (Airborne). The 19th SFG is Headquartered in Draper, Utah with detachments in Texas, Washington, Colorado, Rhode Island, West Virginia and Ohio.
Green Berets with with the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) check their equipment before jumping out of a MC-130H Combat Talon II aircraft. Note the altimeters worn on the soldier's wrists. ODAs that specialize in HALO/HAHO operations are designated as Military Free Fall (MFF) teams. Each Battalion within a Special Forces Group contains at least one MFF ODA.
A Special Forces sniper peers through the scope of a MK12 Special Purpose Rifle (SPR) during a shooting competition. The MK12 SPR is variant of the AR15 rifle, modified for use as a designated marksman / sharpshooter weapon. It is a semi-automatic weapon, designed to use Mk 262 match-grade 5.56mmx45mm ammunition. Variants of the SPR are in use by units throughout United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), including Special Forces, Navy SEALs and Army Rangers. It is highly accurate in the light sniper role and, due to its semi-auto action, can also be carried as a primary weapon by members of an infantry squad.

Green Berets with the 7th Special Forces Group provide covering fire from the prone position during small unit tactics training.
Apprentice-level small unit tactics are taught during the third phase of the Special Forces Qualification Course, otherwise known as the 'Q course'. During such training, candidates learn the various tactical combat skills required to operate and fight as part of a 12-man SF-ODA. Fully-fledged Green Berets practise and hone their small unit tactical skills on a regular basis.
The 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) (7th SFG(A)) is a United States Army Special Forces unit that is assigned the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) area or operations (AOR).
A U.S. Army Special Forces Operator looks out over Ghazni district Sept. 20, 2013, while flying in a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter over Ghanzi province, Afghanistan.

Me pongo a ello poco a poco.
